Meet Amanda
Owner & Founder of Revolution Salon
Amanda's journey in the beauty industry began in 1999 at Rollers Beauty School, where she discovered not just a profession, but a calling. From the very start, Amanda knew she wanted to help people feel more beautiful and confident the moment they walked out of her chair. What drew her in wasn’t just the craft — it was the creativity, the artistry, and the human connection behind every transformation.
As a mom of three, Amanda chose cosmetology for the flexibility it offered, allowing her to build a career while staying present for her family. Along the way, she fell in love with extensions and became an educator in the field, deepening her expertise while sharing her knowledge with others.
After working at several salons throughout Las Vegas, Amanda took a leap in 2020, opening her own space: Revolution Salon. The name isn’t just a brand — it’s a reflection of her purpose. Amanda set out to revolutionize the beauty industry through a foundation of love: love for the craft, love for the people, love for the community, and love for creativity in all forms. The word LOVE in her logo is intentional; it’s at the heart of everything she does.
She opened her doors on March 15, 2020 — just four days before the COVID-19 shutdown. Rather than succumbing to fear, Amanda used those months to fully transform her vision into reality. She painted the salon herself, collected local art to fill the space, and created an environment that celebrates individuality, welcomes everyone, and fosters creativity.
Today, Amanda continues to see clients, mentor her team, and lead Revolution Salon with purpose and heart. For her, this business has never been just about hair — it’s about building community, spreading kindness, and giving back. Amanda’s philanthropic work reflects this deeply:
- Providing 150+ haircuts for veterans and the homeless
- Being featured on radio, television, and in newspapers for giving back to a single mom recovering from domestic violence, offering haircuts for both the mom and her children
- Supporting Hope for the City through holiday gift drives and community outreach
Amanda’s mission is simple yet powerful: create beauty, inspire confidence, and lead with love.
